Academy Award Shockers!

The Oscars this year were actually pretty good. The speeches were nice and short, and so was the telecast. Here are some of the suprises of the night.

-Billy Crystal was actually a great host! He had some funny One Liners and I just think he did a good job! Not so much with singing though. But it was just meant to be fun.



- Hugo winning Best Visual Effects, this award should have went to Rise of the Planet of the Apes or Harry Potter, not Hugo

- Hugo winning 5 awards I thought it would only take home like three

- Meryl Streep winning Best Actress for The Iron Lady, I really think Viola Davis deserved it way more but Meryl did give a good performance in The Iron Lady.

- The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo winning Best Editing, suprising since it was'nt even nominated for Best Picture, even though it definetly should have been.

Jean Dujardin winning Best Actor, not a huge suprise but really glad he won!

Best Presenters- Chris Rock, who was hilarious, and The Muppets!!

In the end The Artist came out with Best Picture, and overall it was a pretty good show! Definetly a lot better then last years really boring show. I came out with 18 out of the 24 predictions right! Which is the best I've ever done.
